#the100dayproject

I haven't really been writing here.  It was starting to feel cumbersome and laborious.  So, I decided to give myself a break   Recently I began a challenge on instagram and I decided to share them here as well.  This post will catch everyone up and then I will share my post here as well as on facebook and instagram.

Day 1~ 4/6/15

I have always loved photography. I recently got a decent camera... And now I am trying to learn to use it. I am ready to embark on this journey of trying to capture the world I see through photography. ‪#‎the100dayproject‬‪ #‎100daysofmaking‬

Day 2 ~ 4/7/15

Rainy days often dampen my spirits...and make me want to curl up somewhere warm and cozy. Rainy days almost always make me reflect on life and the storms I have weathered. Today I am thankful for the rain. Maybe.... just maybe.... It is telling me that Spring has finally arrived.‪#‎the100dayproject‬ ‪#‎100daysofmaking‬

Day 3 ~ 4/8/15

"Not all those who wander are lost." ~ J.R.R. Tolkien ‪#‎the100dayproject‬‪#‎100daysofmaking‬

Day 4 ~ 4/9/15

At this moment I watch him....thinking about how very far he has come...and how very far he has yet to go. Looking at my child...half boy, half man....I watch as he begins to walk his own path, with confidence and determination. There is a part of me that wells up with pride and another part that wants to hold him in my arms, safe from the world forever. ‪#‎the100dayproject‬‪#‎100daysofmaking‬

Day 5 ~ 4/10/15

They have become one after all these years.....her fingers and the keys. Music...but especially the piano and organ have been her life's work and passion. They have sustained her through all of life's pitfalls and snares. It is her legacy....her gift to the world....all the music she has breathed into so many over the decades. Still after all these years, I listen to her practice....the same phrase over and over until it is perfect to her ear. The pulse of the music is her own heartbeat...one can not exist without the other.‪#‎the100dayproject‬ ‪#‎100daysofmaking‬

Now you are all caught up and I will continue to share my postings here!
